Our customer reviews

In accordance with article L111-7-2 of the French Consumer Code, here is how the reviews published on finisherzone.fr are collected, checked and displayed.

Who collects the reviews?

The reviews shown on our site are collected and hosted by Judge.me, an independent provider specialising in customer review collection for e-commerce.

How are reviews collected?

Reviews come from two distinct sources:

  1. Verified buyer reviews — an invitation e-mail is sent automatically to customers a few days after they receive their order. Judge.me technically links these reviews to a real order. They carry the “Verified purchase” label in the review module at the bottom of each product page.
  2. Visitor reviews — any site visitor can leave a review without having placed an order. These reviews do not carry the “Verified purchase” label.

Are reviews checked?

Yes. Every review is read before publication.

The check relates solely to compliance with the publication rules set out below. It never relates to whether the review is favourable or unfavourable: a negative review that complies with these rules is published just like a positive one.

This check is carried out manually by FinisherZone, supplemented by Judge.me's automatic anti-spam filters.

Grounds for refusing publication

A review may be refused if it:

  • contains insulting, defamatory, racist, discriminatory or unlawful content;
  • contains third parties' personal data;
  • does not relate to a FinisherZone product or service;
  • constitutes advertising, a commercial link or clearly automated content;
  • infringes a third party's intellectual property rights;
  • is clearly fraudulent (multiple reviews from the same person, content identical to an already published review).

No review is refused solely because it gives a low rating or criticises a product.

Publication time and duration

Reviews are published within a maximum of 7 working days after submission.

The publication date of each review is displayed. Reviews are kept and published for 3 years from their publication.

Modification and deletion

A published review is never modified by FinisherZone. Replies we post publicly to certain reviews are clearly identified as coming from the seller.

The author of a review may request its modification or deletion at any time by writing to contact@finisherzone.fr.

Ranking criteria

By default, reviews are shown from the most recent to the oldest. Visitors can change this order using the sorting options offered by the review module.

On the home page, a selection of representative reviews is highlighted in an illustrative carousel. This selection hides no review: all reviews, including negative ones, remain accessible via the full review module at the bottom of each product page.

Compensation

No financial compensation, discount, gift or benefit of any kind is granted in exchange for submitting a review.

Members of our ambassador programme receive commercial benefits linked to their recommendation activity. Where a review comes from an ambassador, this status is disclosed.

Contacting the author

Visitors cannot contact the author of a review directly. For any question about a review, write to us at contact@finisherzone.fr.

Reporting a review

If you believe a published review is false, fraudulent or contrary to the rules above, report it to contact@finisherzone.fr. We undertake to examine any report within 7 working days.
