FinisherZone operates this store and website, including all information, content, features, tools, products and related services, in order to provide you, as a customer, with a personalised shopping experience (the “Services”). FinisherZone is a Shopify-powered store. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and disclose your personal information when you access or use the Services, make a purchase or any other transaction, or otherwise communicate with us. In the event of a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy prevails as regards the collection, processing and disclosure of your personal information.
Personal information we collect or process
“Personal information” means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. Depending on how you interact with the Services and where you live, we may collect or process:
- Contact details — name, address, billing address, delivery address, telephone number and e-mail address.
- Financial information — payment card and bank account details, transaction details, payment method and payment confirmation.
- Account information — username, password, security questions, preferences and settings.
- Transaction information — items you view, add to your cart or wishlist, buy, return, exchange or cancel, and your past transactions.
- Your communications with us — the information you include when you contact customer service.
- Device information — your device, browser or network connection, IP address and other unique identifiers.
- Usage information — how and when you access or interact with the Services.
Sources of personal information
- Directly from you, when you create an account, use the Services or contact us;
- Automatically through the Services, from your device and through cookies and similar technologies;
- From our service providers, when they collect or process your information on our behalf;
- From our partners or other third parties.
How we use your personal information
- Providing, tailoring and improving the Services — performing our contract with you, processing payments and orders, remembering your preferences, sending account notifications, handling purchases, returns and exchanges, arranging shipping, enabling reviews and creating a personalised shopping experience.
- Marketing and advertising — sending marketing communications by e-mail, SMS or post, and showing you online advertising on the Services or on other websites.
- Security and fraud prevention — authenticating your account, securing checkout, detecting and investigating fraudulent, unlawful or malicious activity. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
- Communicating with you — providing customer service and responding to your requests.
- Legal reasons — complying with applicable law, responding to valid legal process, and enforcing our terms and policies.
How we disclose personal information
- To Shopify, service providers and other third parties acting on our behalf (IT, payment processing, analytics, customer service, cloud storage, fulfilment and shipping).
- To business and marketing partners, so they can provide marketing services and deliver advertising. They use your information in accordance with their own privacy notices. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us not to share information about you for targeted advertising.
- Where you instruct us, ask us or otherwise consent to disclosure to third parties, for example to ship products to you.
- To our affiliates or within our group of companies.
- In connection with a business transaction such as a merger or insolvency, to comply with a legal obligation, to enforce applicable terms or policies, and to protect the Services and the rights of our users or third parties.
Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify and with third parties that may be located in countries other than your own. Shopify may also use personal information collected from your interactions with our store, with other merchants and with Shopify to provide enhanced features. In those circumstances Shopify is the controller of your personal information, including for requests to exercise your rights. See the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify privacy portal.
Third-party websites and links
The Services may link to websites or platforms operated by third parties. We recommend that you review their privacy and security policies and their terms of use. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of those sites, nor for the accuracy or reliability of the information they contain. Including these links does not imply any endorsement.
Children's data
The Services are not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details below to request its deletion. As at the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we are not aware of “sharing” or “selling” personal information about people under 16.
Security and retention
No security measure is perfect and we cannot guarantee “perfect security”. Information you send us may not be secure in transit; please do not use unsecured channels to send us sensitive or confidential information.
How long we keep your personal information depends on factors such as the need to manage your account, provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce applicable agreements or policies.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights. They are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances, and in some cases we may refuse your request to the extent permitted by law.
- Right of access / to be informed about the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to erasure of the personal information we hold about you.
- Right to rectification of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to portability — to receive a copy of your personal information and ask for it to be transferred to a third party, in certain circumstances and with certain exceptions.
- Managing communication preferences — you can unsubscribe from our promotional e-mails at any time using the link they contain. We may still send you non-promotional e-mails about your account or your orders.
If you live in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, subject to local exceptions and limitations, you may also:
- Object to or restrict processing of your personal information for certain purposes.
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
You can exercise these rights in the places provided for that purpose on the Services or by contacting us using the details below. We will not penalise you for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, to the extent permitted by law. You may appoint an authorised agent, who must provide proof of their authority. We will respond within the time limits set by applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. We will publish the revised policy on this website, update the “Last updated” date and give notice as required by applicable law.
